Stampin' Up! Regionals - Hartford, CT

What a fun day I had at the Hartford, CT SU Regionals yesterday. Tons of inspiration, swaps, tips, tricks and laughs. Followed by some shopping at the local scrap book store (Wiggles and Giggles) and then a trip to IKEA which always makes me happy. It was a long day as I had to leave my house by 4:30 am, which meant waking up at 3:45 am (are you kiddin' me?!?) and we didn't get home until 12:30 sunday morning, but it was oh, so worth it! Here's some eye candy from the day:

2009 Stampin' Up! In-Colors

Well, probably most everyone has seen these by now (sorry, I'm a little behind on my blogging). These will be the 6 new In-Colors in the Stampin' Up! Catalog that goes live on July 1st. I have placed my pre-order, but opted out of the $50 overnight shipping charge and therefore, got put in the back of the line so to speak for shipping. I just got notice yesterday that part of my order has shipped and should be here on monday (the 15th). Once I get some of these new papers, I can make some cards and show off the colors on my blog. Until then, Dawn has allowed us to use this picture from her blog to show the new colors (she musta shelled out the 50 beans!). If you'd like to see some comparison photos of how the new in colors fit in with the current 48 colors, she has them posted on her blog here.

Thanks to Dawn and other demo's who have gotten some of their pre-order stuff, we can all have a little sneak peak of what's to come! For the first time ever, we will also be getting MARKERS to coordinate with the new in-colors!! From what I've seen of the new hostess sets, I will be busy with parties this year too!

My Occasions Mini Pre-Order is here!

While I have not had much time to stamp lately, I still had time to shop - lol! This is what was in my SU box yesterday... it's my Occasions Mini Pre-Order toys!! As a demo, I get to see the minis and catalogs a bit before they "go live" and even get to order from them ahead of time so I can make lots of samples and have product to show you when it becomes available to customers. I had time to mount all these sets yesterday (quick work now that everything is die cut!) Now to find a place to put all this new stuff and then to find time to play with it all!! Hope to have something new to show you soon! Thanks for stopping in - sorry I've been so MIA lately. I've missed you all!

ONLINE ORDERING IS HERE!

You can be in charge now of when your order gets placed and delivered from Stampin Up! I'm so excited to offer my customers this convenience. If you're like me, you like to surf around the web after work or after you put the kids to bed, but you hesitate to call or email the demonstrator every time you see something you "must have". Well, fret no more! When you visit my Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Website, you can click on the Shop Now Button in the top right hand corner and order whatever you want, whenever you want! There is a link to my demonstrator website on the right hand side of my blog. When you get there, just favorite it and it will be easy to find whenever the Stampin' Up! itch hits! Keep in mind that if I'm offering a special, you'll want to place your order with me. Have fun shopping and as always don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions!!

I'm back with some big news from Stampin' Up!

WOW! We had an AWESOME time on vacation, but I'm glad to be home and back in touch with the "real" world (in cyberspace). Our hotel didn't have WiFi (WTF?) and I could only pick up a signal from across the street now and then, so my computer time was limited - not that I had time to check in anyway... This is what I've learned so far after being home about what when on at Convention (a huge meeting for Stampin' Up! demo's held in Utah this past week)

There are sooooooo many new things happening at Stampin Up! If you haven't heard the news already (I know things travel fast) - here's some of the latest (in addition to moving forward with online ordering which should be available soon):

Shelli's signature series: items that reflect Shelli's personal style. I don't know too much about these yet, but I hear they are GORGEOUS! Also .... Shelli (Shelli Gardner) will start blogging! Her new blog will go live (August 12th).

Big Shot - SU will now carry an exclusive version of the Sizzix machine in the SU black with logo, carrying case available as well as GREAT new dies (like Tulipe - which looks like the large background stamp Baroque), pennants, scalloped circles, alphabets and more! More shapes and sizes will be available shortly. You can cut cardstock, paper, chipboard, VINYL, fabric and so much more with these! You can do things like make sweet little flowers by stacking die cut scalloped circles from fabric. There is also a wall project with a fleur de lis like design made by cutting a stencil from the Tulipe die and then stenciling on your wall! (PS Tulipe is noted as one of Shelli's signature items!).

New Decor Elements - holiday (Halloween, Fall, Christmas) items AND additional colors! Check out the cute shadowbox project and candy jar.

Incredible new DSP and ribbons!

A NEW stamp set benefitting Ronald McDonald House Charitiies - its a scalloped square that matches the NEW square scalloped punch! I can't wait to learn and share more soon!
