I created this flier using the new Digital Design Software from Stampin' Up! called My Digital Studio. Isn't it great? It has sooooo many stamp sets included - it's really a great value. Once I figure out all the tips and tricks, I'll be hosting classes! For those who purchase this software from me, some classes will be free! Mix and Match Oval All Class

How fun does this look?!? This is a "rough draft" of my next class. This class will consist of the stationary holder that houses 6 A2 sized cards and lots of options for sentiments that will go on the card depending on the ocassion. One picture shows an example of each of the cards and some of the mix and match options. The other picture shows how this set is stored all neat and tidy - adorable, huh? I think this would make a great gift for someone. Note: The final version will have either a rose red or bashful blue fold up box (the bottom part that is now pictured white with the blue polka dots on the inside).

This Class will be offered on 2 dates: Saturday, August 15th at 10 am and again on Monday, August 17th at 6 pm. Cost is $15 (take $1 off if you bring your own punches!) and pre-payment is due for both classses by 8/10/09 in order to insure your seat. Seating is limited to 8 people per class. Hope to see you there!

christmas in July

Sneak peak! For those coming to my Christmas in July Stamp Camp, these are the projects we'll be doing. Are you all excited now. I plan to make my cards early, so this year I can spend some time relaxing before the holidays! Have a great day :)

2009 Occasions Mini is Here!

The NEW Occasions Mini from Stampin' Up! is here. Starting today, April 1st you can get these great new items. As a demo, I could order from this mini catalog starting last month. Let me tell ya a secret.... I usually don't order too many Mini items as if they don't make it into the big catalog, I can't demo them for very long, but after a look at this Mini and I ordered almost everything! It's a good one. If you see something you like and would like to order, give me a call or contact me via email! SU has announced a promo that if you order $40 from the Mini, you may pick one of the new single stamps from the back of the big catty, but there are some technical difficulties with the promo, so stay tuned for more info on that.

Also, I am holding a Oval Scallop Punch class on April 22nd. Cost is $20 and you get to take your punch home with you! Pre-registration due by April 3rd.

Do you ever wonder if you have the BESTEST group of stampers?!? Well, I'm sorry to say that you can't, 'cause I do! At my basics class today, I had a bunch of my regulars and they surprised me with cake and singing and presents before class! What a great group of ladies I am blessed with - thank you so much! The cake has a bra on it and reads "Michele is 40 let's show her some support" LOL! And did I mention that it was delicious Karen! Holy cow - it has been a week full of cake for me!

Just wanted to share my joy and publicly thank my wonderful group - you guys ROCK!

Basics Class Projects and Expo mini gift boxes

Has it really been more than a week since I posted?!? Where does the time go? I've been really busy with the the craft show last weekend, work, ortho appts and then of course my milestone birthday yesterday. Today, I spent the morning in my rubber room prepping for my back to basics class on saturday. The three projects shown will be the projects for that class. The students will make all these projects from start to finish. Usually, I prep and pre cut all materials. I want them to feel comfortable with the start to finish process. Each project even uses a left over piece from the previous one. The little mini gift bag pictured is inspired by the many that I made and sold at the craft show.

These are the gift bags that I sold out of at the craft show - they were the big hit at my table. I had a custom order for 11 more, and that's what is shown here. Each mini bag uses a half sheet of cardstock and then you just score and snip it before taping it together. They go together pretty quickly.
