Just one flower!

Hey there! Even though it's almost tomorrow (already), I wanted to try to post something today.... I found an hour after working late and another hockey game (we won... go NH!) to participate in the Splitcoast limited supplies challenge for today. We were to use ONLY one flower stamp.
Perfect time to use the new level 1 From the Garden stamp. I always mess up when coloring this flower as I have a hard time 1. getting a good clear stamped image (especially on watercolor paper like used here) and 2. deciding which are leaves and which are petals. Well, I screwed this up when coloring it as the 2 small leaves on the right hand side I originally colored at petals, so I restamped and colored them, cut them out and cut the orange petals with my craft knife so I could tuck the leaves underneath. Once I did this, I dediced that the rest of the petals might look good cut out and curled up here and there - really pops off the card! I did the same with the flower center and added some stickles to that. Thanks for stopping by and if you've never tried I challenge..... I dare ya!!
